DESCRIPTION: 

This is a very realistic replica of the "Classic Look" AK47 assault rifle, the world's most commonly used and
most "popular" (Most produced) assault rifle. Chambered in the very powerful 7.62 round the AK has masses
of power and compliments this with world renowned reliability. Capable of operating through harsh conditions
that other assault rifles simply cannot handle with little maintenance and cleaning.

This version of the AK seems to be based off the fictional Beta Spetnaz, a shortened version of the AK-47, with
an integrated front lower rail - this version also comes with the folding stock making it an IDEAL CQB weapon,
with its reasonable power and shorter length this would be perfect for clearing buildings or for use as a scouts
weapon when in an outdoor skirmish, the small size means it would be easy to run with and could be used
effectively when sneaking through trees or foliage.  

The build on this rifle is very good for such a low price relative to the quality, the body is very secure and the
attachment  of the front handguard and upper gas block cover feels incredibly secure - the front sight post is very
nice, and provides a great sight picture - Personally I would have chosen the AK47-U style rear sights if designing
this weapon, But the 74 style works just as well.
The flash hider is solid metal, with a plastic tip - but feels incredible on the weapon - this CAN however be swapped
out for any other flash hider you may prefer (on a 14mmCCW thread) meaning you can give your rifle a very unique
look without doing much to the body.
Essentially, what you get here is an "SMG" that is actually still a full rifle - it takes standard CYMA style magazines,
and is more than capable of making accurate and consistent shots at range.

Taken direct from my description for the classic army AK, My personal opinion on the AK platform:

Speaking from personal preference, The AK Platform is a much more "friendly" platform than the M4 for people
looking for a easily customisable but relatively common weapon - The AK is a much wider bodied rifle than the
AR Series which gives it some added "heft" and gives it a much more solid feel in the hand, I personally prefer
the AK style sights than the AR carry handle style, as the adjustment is far easier to do when in combat.
I also prefer the AK style magazines, as there are tens of times more variants than there are M4 Mags, meaning
you can customise not only the look of the rifle itself, but can change the appearance by changing the magazines
- Most, if not all, airsoft AK's are cross compatible when it comes to magazines meaning if you find a style you
like it is easy to source more without the hassle of matching your manufacturer to magazine.
(E.g. an AK47 using modern "low angle" magazines can have an instantly unique look)
All in all, The AK Platform is, in my opinion, a much nicer platform to use for a long-term rifle. - Dom.B.
